PHYSICAL FEATURES
Our first product is an innovative electronic device,
able to prevent the loss of control of a vehicle due to drowsy driving.

The choice of the product is suggested by the incidence of sleep-related or fatigue-related car accidents.

HELIOS, unique on the market, will be patented for its usefulness, its structure and its simplicity.

Each HELIOS is composed of a series of sensors, positioned around the steering wheel, and an electronic control unit contained in a sturdy case of small dimensions and pleasant aspect, placed on the wheel hub.

The case is connected to the sensors and is equipped with:

. A LED to indicate the status of the device
. An acoustic device
. A programmable microcontroller
. A pbc electronic circuit, able to activate the luminous and acoustic signals
. A rechargeable 9VDC 6LR61 battery
. A mini-usb plug for recharging the battery
. A plug to connect the unit to the sensors

Physical features
The case is made of ABS, a non-toxic, non-magnetic material. Its external dimensions are 85x55X25 mm. Its compact and ergonomic design will protect the device from damages due to normal pressure or crashes. The device will be fixed on the flat part of the steering wheel hub with Velcro bands.

Functional features
The device is activated by pressing the ON-OFF switch. A green led and a short beep (1 sec.) indicate that the device has been switched on. Three intense alarm beeps and a red led will signal that the driver has loosened the correct grip on the steering wheel for more than 500 ms. The device will also emit a particular acoustic and visual signal after 2 hours of uninterrupted driving as a reminder for a break.

Power supply
The device is powered by: . nr.1 9V 6LR61 rechargeable battery ; . the battery can be recharged by connecting the included cable to the cigarette lighter socket.
